I have tested sync.exe(which can be used to direct the operating system to flush all file system data to disk, see http://www.sysinternals.com/utilities/sync.html) on vista 5520.
test step:
1.run sync.exe with administrator priviledge.
2.Soon as I can to reboot computer using reboot button。
3.I can see “Windows Error Recovery” menu(detail content:windows did not shut down successfully. If this…)
My problem is whether sync.exe support vista?
If support, how to explain the step 3?
If not support, how to avoid the step 3,because I want to realize function such as sync but I
don’t except to see “Windows Error Recovery”.
By the way,I run sync.exe on win2k/xp/2003/xp64 well without seeing menu like step 3.
Who can help me?
