Symmetric BCV devices and veritas volume manager

Hi,
I am not sure if this is right forum for posting this query. I hope anyone
of you would have worked on this. I am using Symmetrix box from EMC along
with TimeFinder utility. I am creating multiple BCVs and using these BCVs
from other host. When I try to import BCVs from the other host, I don’t have
control over “which disks are imported by vxvm”. If there are multiple BCVs
for same std device, sometime vxvm imports wrong BCV. My question is very
simple, how do I ask vxvm to import particular set of BCV(disks).

thanks
pashupati

Ask on comp.arch.storage. That newsgroup is full of EMC-related and SAN-related questions.
This forum is on NT kernel mode development and not storage arrays management.
