Storage Control Block invalid in SCSI miniport

Using our SCSI miniport, we are getting an event log message of 0x9. This
is (according to the error lookup tool):

The storage control block address is invalid.

Does anyone know:

  1. What exactly is the “Storage Control Block”? Is it an SRB?
  2. What could cause this and who would put it in the event log viewer?
    Scsiport? The Class driver?
