Hi,
I am having trouble when kernel debugging via serial a HP server class
machine (Model DL380).
The machine sponatneously reboots if I am inside a breakpoint after a
certain amount of time. I looked into the BIOS and found some NMI related
definitions, but no matter how I played with them, the machine kept
rebooting while debugging.
Does anyone know how can I disable the spontaneous reboot?
Did you try looking for ASR (Automatic system recovery) in the BIOS?
I had a similar problem where ASR thinks the machine is hung and
reboots automatically. If you find this option, disable it.
