silly question--Read/write the disk class filter driver

How do i read the disk in the disk class filter driver
on the routine : DriverEntry or AddDevice.
I want to the MBR and some sectors of the disk.

you need to wait until the lower driver has received an IRP_MJ_PNP/IRP_MN_START_DEVICE request and completed it successfully. then you can read from the disk.
