setup api and terminal services

Hi,
I have two filter drivers and I install them using Setup API and inf files.
These drivers create device objects which are used by application. When I
install these drivers in a terminal session, application fail to open these
devices. This is behavior seen when application run in the same session or
on console. Does anyone has any idea on this?

Thanks
Pashupati

On what operating system are you seeing this?

On win2k TS servers, a lot of the session space (like the \dosdevices namespace) is snapshotted when the session begins and is not updated.? For instance, if you add a 1394 harddrive, all existing TS sessions will not see the new drive letter (unless they log off and back on).? W/out knowing what type of filters / names you are exposing, it is difficult to drill down any farther.

I am adding one storage filter driver and one file system driver. Both these
driver create device objects as well as symbolic names to be accessed by
win32 apps. Can you throw more light on this ?

Thanks
Pash
