I think you go to www.osr.com and use the list controls they have there.

* PLEASE SAVE THIS WELCOME MESSAGE! *
********************************************************************

Welcome to the ntdev mailing list!

This is the Windows NT / 2000 Software Development discussion list, with
a world-wide membership. To send messages to the mailing list use the
address:

xxxxx@lists.osr.com

Your message will automatically be distributed to all members of the
list.

This list is also available in digested form. To set your subscription
to digest mode (instead of mail or “discussion” mode), see the relevant
command below.

Please note that some sites (e.g., Microsoft) have a local “exploder”
for the “ntdev” list (i.e., a list whose name is on this list).
Please check to see if your site has such a list and if it does, ask
to be added to that list, not this list.

If you ever want to get yourself off this list, please send a message
to “xxxxx@lists.osr.com” with the word “unsubscribe” in the body.
Please, we beg you, Do not send administrative requests to
the posting address “xxxxx@lists.osr.com”. (General Internet policy:
It’s rarely the case that administrative requests should be sent to the
same address that you would use if you actually wanted to post a message
to the list. “-request” is often a good choice. When it
doubt, send mail to “postmaster” or “-owner” at the same site.)

Just so that you have all the commands neatly contained in one place,
here is just about everything you will need to know. Note that the list
is running on a Lyris server; this is a relatively new list server,
so be aware that the commands might be different from those that you are
used to using on other list servers.

1. First of all, almost everything that you might ever need to do on the
server is most easily and effectively performed via Lyris’s Web interface
at http://www.osr.com/lists.html

2. The list archive will be maintained on the web, in full text
searchable form. We’ll import the past 2 years of discussions onto
our web server as soon as we have a chance. Again, access the archive
via the web at http://www.osr.com/lists.html

3. In case you prefer the traditional email method of setting your list
options, here are some key commands.

To perform the operation shown, place the indicated command in either
the subject line or in the body of your message. Send your message
to xxxxx@lists.osr.com

To SUBSCRIBE:
subscribe ntdev your_name

To UNSUBSCRIBE:
unsubscribe ntdev

To SET MEMBERSHIP TO DIGEST MODE:
set ntdev digest

To SET MEMBERSHIP TO INDEX MODE:
set ntdev index

To SET MEMBERSHIP TO DISCUSSION MODE:
set ntdev mail

To TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING MAIL FROM THE LIST:
set ntdev nomail

To RESUME MAIL FROM THE LIST: (command depends on your preferred mode)
set ntdev mail
set ntdev digest
set ntdev index

To POST TO THE LIST:
You must be a subscriber to post messages. Sending mail to this address
will distribute it to all the members of the mailing list:

xxxxx@lists.osr.com

4. CHANGING YOUR SETTINGS/ADDRESS VIA THE WEB INTERFACE: To do this, go
to http:. Select the ntdev list, and then click
the link in the “Change Your Settings” section. You’ll need to enter
your e-mail address and password (if you chose one) to continue.

(If you’ve forgotten your password, you can type in your e-mail address
in the field at the bottom of the page and click “Get password” to
request Lyris to e-mail your password to you.)

At the following page, you can read messages, post a message, adjust
your settings, or unsubscribe. From the settings page, you can change
your status (MAIL, DIGEST, INDEX, or NOMAIL), choose whether or not to
see your own messages, and choose whether or not you want to receive a
separate acknowledgement via e-mail when one of your messages is posted
to the list, You can also change your e-mail address if you need to.
When you change your settings, make sure you click the “Save” button at
the bottom of the page.

5. BOUNCED MAIL: Bounced mail will almost always be handled automatically
by the Lyris list server.

6. POSTS/REPLIES FROM DIGEST USERS: You must change the Subject: line
when replying to a digest; all posts with “ntdev DIGEST” in the
Subject: line will be rejected by the server (you will receive a
“rejection letter” when this happens).

PROBLEMS: If you have ANY problems related to the ntdev Discussion
List, please do not post them to the list. List managers are at your
disposal for this very purpose; please avail yourself of the resource:

xxxxx@lists.osr.com

If you have any questions about the list or the Lyris server, feel free
to contact us. (NOTE: We currently manage multiple mailing lists; please
be sure to state in your message which list you are referring/subscribed
to. Thanks!)

Once again, welcome to the ntdev Discussion List.
