Hello all,
With reference to the book, “Programming the MS WDM”, by walter oney,
chapter 12, Autolaunch project,
It was working fine, and starting the test application on loading the
driver…
Accidently,I deleted the class key of the "Unknown " device class and then
I had added the Unknown class key to the Class path
The driver is getting loaded, but the application is not getting poped up
on the start up…
I also checked with the “services” in the “COMPUTER MANAGEMENT” and tried
to start the autolaunch service from there, but it gives the following
error.
> could not start the Autolaunch Service service on Local computer
ERROR 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in
a timely fashion…

I am able to start and stop all the other services in the “Computer
Management” except the autolaunch service after I edited the registry.
I also tried with a fresh copy of the autolaunch project but still it gives
me the same problem…
I also tried up with some registry cleaner suspecting any problem with
registry ,but still It couldn’t help…
