Has anyone noticed that the setting “Allow Service to Interact with Desktop”
does not work in Win2K? Under NT4 it allowed my Service to display debug
messages to the console. However, in Win2K it seems to have no effect. Is
there something else that needs to be done in Win2K?
Thanks.
Neil
I don’t know, but maybe they figured a service didn’t need a console.
In which case you could allocate your own.
Console apps running as non-interactive services on NT4 are not allocated
a console by default.
