Are there any standard validation tests for serial ports?
I recently downloaded and installed the latest HCK, but could not find
anything relevant.

I would like to know what you find out?
I had a project to find out which PCIe Multi-serial port chip set we should
use in project. So I run simple serial port read/write but never know the
“Standard Validation” test.
We found out “PCIe” better FTDI (USB) a lots on performance comparison.
