sending NULL packet on USB

hello all

I am seeing a problem with sending NULL packet or Zero Length packet after
the end of transmission of data from the driver on the Host to the USB
device . Is it USB Host controller’s resposibility to send the NULL packet
from the Host or device driver’s responsibility ? . I had checked with
other USB org faq , they were talking about the problem in Macintosh drivers
( i.e. sending zero length packet from the Host ) . I am confused about who
should take the responsibility of informing the device about the end of data
transmission . Can anybody help me ?

Thanks and regards
Srinivasa
