sending controlling messages KM /UM

Hi all:
i have a miniport driver that works in kernal mode , and i have an interface program which is working in user mode , the last one has to control the miniport driver .
so i need a way to send the command from the interface program to the miniprot driver .
please help me.

There has been an article at MS named : “Q178317 - Ioctl.exe: How to Use Various Types of IOCTL” . However, it seems to be not
available anymore. If you cannot find it back neither, just E-mail me, and I will send you the article plus sample sources.
