Sarosh, please, pretty please, can we get something done about this?, what does it take?

Hiya

I’m afraid it’s fltkd time again!
From Windbg 6.9.2.113, familiar, sigh
You’re community moves to minifilter, it’s what you desire, it would so
enormously help us if fltkd would work.

Thanks,
Lyndon

Hi Lyndon,

I’ve actually fixed all the fltkd bugs, but the changes haven’t shipped yet. The fixed extension should be published with the next debugger. I’ll send a mail to the list when that happens.

Regards,
Alex.

Does this by any chance mean the version of WinDbg that was released today (6.10.3.233)? I assume
not, but I thought we might luck out.

Thanks,

mm

It is, though the amd64 build download link has been flaky for me - seems like it might point to a load balaned cluster and one or more servers do not actually have the file, resulting in random 404’s trying to get the installer (lovely).

Yeah, I had this issue for a while as well, though I eventually got lucky and it downloaded.

Hi Alex

Thanks, you’re a star - hopefully soon I’ll be able to fix all my bugs as
well - when I can just debug them

Best Wishes,
Lyndon

Hi guys,

It doesn’t look like my changes made it into this release. The first thing I did was remove the error message about the version being wrong (“Extension DLL(xxxx Free) does not match target system(xxxx Free)”) so you should be able to tell when it becomes available by simply looking at that.

Regards,
Alex.

Next time, then. Still appreciated just as much.

Thanks,
