Sandy?

By the way, how did our friends at OSR in Massachusetts fare through
Hurricane Sandy? Some of my clients in Rhode Island and Maryland have
very impressive horror stories.

Well OSR is in New Hampshire not Massachusetts. Being in
Massachusetts, there was pretty light damage this time around, I got off
with no damage and no power outages, unlike Irene last year where I lost
power for 4 days. I haven’t heard any significant damage reports from
New Hampshire.

Thanks for asking, Tim.

We lost power for about 18 hours at the OSR offices… and some of our homes were without power for a day or two.

But no major issues, and we’re pretty much back to normal now.

Again, I appreciate your concern.

IIRC, the last time ( I guess it was last year, right) it was worse than that - IIRC, you were off-line for few days back then. First I was a bit ironical, blaming unavailability of your site on the fact that you rely upon Windows Server ( in fact, it DOES happen that you go off-line for few hours from time to time, which I normally blame on the software that you use), until I realized that you were actually located in an area destroyed by Irene…

But no major issues, and we’re pretty much back to normal now.

Great!!!
