Does anyone know how to get a device driver to load when the computer
(Windows 2000 and Windows ME) is booted in safe mode?

You would probably have to add it to the hardware profile for safe-mode. How
to do that I have no idea. Besides, the idea of safe-mode is the barest
possible system to allow cleaning up drivers that are crashing the system.
