Resume rightaway after XP suspend if RemoteWakeup supported USB device are connected

This condiction happens only on MotherBoard “ASUS P4S533-MX” with USB 2.0
chip “SIS 962L” .

If i pluged a USB device that supported RemoteWakeup, no matter it is a HID
or USB device. They system will be Resume right away after suspend(<10ms)

I had test 2 kind of USB device
one is microsoft optical mouse “p/n x08-99490 pid 58724-576-0740442-0”
another is a general USB device .

also do those testing work.
1 install XP Service Pack a1
2 install the last version of USB host driver (version 102) provide by ASUS
3 re-borning the last version of BIOS contents (veriosn 1006) provide by
ASUS

but nothing chang, that problem still exists.

Buggy Asus BIOS. Thanks for un-recommending the mobo

The correct BIOS (like on the Asus S200 laptop) will suspend correctly with
a USB HID device. It will just suspend to S2 and not to S3 (the power LED still
on and not blinking).

OK, can be buggy Asus USB drivers too.

Remember: drivers from MS’s distro are ALWAYS preferrable to the ones on
vendor’s disks. Neglecting this rule causes a good deal if “hey this works
badly!” questions.
