Hi,
I would like to know how the functionality of GetLongPathName() is achieved
on an NT or Windows 95 machine as it only supports from 98 onwards…
Also how do I find out whether a given path is in the 8.3 format or not. I
could check for ~, but that would be making an assumption…
Is there any other way to do this.?

archives, but it does not touch upon what I need.
