Walter Oney: “Programming the Microsoft Windows Driver Model” is called “the
official guide to the Microsoft Windows Driver Model”.

I can recommend strongly this book from my own experience.

If you are in India, you may find the Indian Edition of the Walter Oney
book. Another book for beginers would be
