Hi,
Can u help in any way for following query ???
How can we redirect user I/O to a temporary ‘buffer’ space so that all
changes are written to the buffer space during the current session. When
the computer is rebooted, the I/O reads should be
redirected back to the original file location and all changes made in the
previous session
are discarded.(ie. after logg off/reboot)
I mean to say…
My application should allows users (of computer) to have full access to a
computer. User may make changes to files/folders. It does not restrict
access to the computer in any way. When the computer is rebooted, this
application reverses all of the changes that the last user made to the
workstation.
ie. it should restore it to original configuration
Hoping for a positive response
I am not sure what kind of setup you have currently.
But you can use PCRDIST to keep ur hard disk
up-to-date.
You can keep the master copy of the workstation hard
disk on remote server.
Whenever the workstation boots up, it compares the
workstation hard disk image file with the master image
file on the server and if found different updates the
system’s hard disk with the master image.
But again I dont know whether you are authenticating
against the PDC or the novell server.
This is the link for the website:
