You are mistaken.
SMI is SYSTEM Management Interrupt, not SERVER Management Interrupt.
Of course, you are correct in your expansion of IIRC, which I will restated
again, just in case some people missed it the third (or was it fourth) time.
IIRC = 'I’f ‘I’ 'R’emember 'C’orrectly
The R can also mean 'R’ecall.
