not true 3.5 months ago when I was with ATI. They even
claim OGL app performance may degrade by 50%. Where on
Earth they got this number?
LH has separate runtimes, one for OGL the other for
D3D. At the very bottom, they both reach the miniport
which submits commands to GPU or VPU (Visual
Processing Unit, ATI’s preference). OGL ICDs are still
supported at least 3.5 months ago. It’s part of
vendors LDDM driver package.
You need LDDM (Longhorn Display Driver Model) driver
from vendor.
