Yes that is true, although I suspect that QNX is not attempting to put
device drivers into protected address spaces, right?
It does, IIRC, and it can do some other pretty cool stuff too: it should be
able, for example, to start and stop any driver at any time, and even
replace the running kernel without rebooting
