Of course it’s not available under NT 4 since WDM was not part of NT until
NT version 5.0 (Win 2000).

You asked how to find the version of the OS in a WDM driver, and that is the
proper method. And if you are WDM, then you absolutely are NOT NT4.

Maybe a simple question, but…

How can a WDM driver can simply know which OS version is currently running?
RtlGetVersion doesn’t exist on 9x platforms… It was introduced with XP.
