While I have followed this discussion with some interest, the current
direction about how it’s too late for microsoft to help is very
frustrating. If ms does not supply the tool, each developer ends up
reinventing it when they need it. I like developing such tools but I’m
weird. Most people just want to use them and get on with the job. IIRC,
this thread was started to generate a discussion that would hopefully
prompt ms to supply the missing pieces. Do we have feel for how many more
metoos are needed to get some results? The gap is pretty obvious to most of
us that have done any queue reordering.
