Memory sticks are altered too often, and mobos are sometimes too.
Trying to access SPD by means other then WMI will load the enormous
burden of supporting all and every chipsets on the planet on your
shoulders. Also I’m not sure that there are any unique serial numbers
on a memory stick in the SPD.

The most reliable way is the disk serial number, but I know of no
means of supporting this on SCSI disk.
