RE: How to do a password screen to pop up when user acces- sing a protected folder or file?

Implement a user mode service that will communicate with the driver. It’s
fairly simple and 100% duable :slight_smile:

Subject: [ntfsd] How to do a password screen to pop up when user accessing a
protected folder or file?

Does anybody knows how can I implement popup of password screen when user
accessing a protected folder or file? Then, if password is OK, access
granted and processing of request continues as usual, otherwise, return
ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED to user.

Thanks!
