Thx Max. From this how do i figure out which of the ip addresses on a multi-ip host is my “hostname” mapped to?
From User-land its direct…Gethostname, GetAddress(hostname).
Meaning, I would like to use the ONE ip address which has mapping with the host name and discard the others.

Subject: [ntfsd] Getting ip address of the host from kernel mode
I would like to write a driver which gets me the ip address of the host. I have used TdiRegisterPnpHandlers function to register for add address notifications. I get the device names in the call back. How do I go about from here to get the ip address of the host.
TIA,
Giri.
