Re: Errors while building samples of DriverStudio in Windows XP

Thanks Mark and Alberto for your responses.

Mark, i didnt mean your ddkbuild.bat utility. But iam using your great,
cool utility whenever i am writing a driver using DDK (in plain “C”).
I heard that there will be a “DDK Build” button / Menu apart from the
normal Build Menu in VC IDE when we install DriverWorks.

The following is the sequence for my problem:

I invoked the VC by using setddkgo utility.
Converted one of the sample projects in DriverWorks directory with
DspToDSP Utility (for Win XP).
When i tried to rebuild this project, my output window shows:

Deleting intermediate files and output files for project ‘1394Chat - Win32
Debug’.

This is my problem… I dont know whether i have done anything wrong in the
order of installation… My system has

Windows XP [ver 5.1.2600]
Platform SDK November 2001
Visual Studio 6.0 (Service Pack 5)
SoftICE Driver Suite (ver 2.6)

Thanks once again…
