Re:DeviceIoctl for Miniport in 9x

I create a symbolic link for my Minport and try to use
CreateFile from my app to get an handle. The API fails
with error “file not found”. But through Softice I
could see my device being listed under the DosDevices
Object Dir. Am I missing out something???

I do not think you could do that. You need protocol driver to access your
miniport driver. Could any one verify this?
