Sometimes it may be better to let it bluescreen and use BoundsChecker and
Workbench to analyze the dump file.

It is possible , but very difficult. There is no documented way to write to
a file at that time , the only way is to use NT’s / 2k crash dump mechanism
to write a custom dump out , whatever it contains NTICE screen or other
things. And anyway NTICE screen wont help you too much to identify the fault
reason.
