There are many ways to do this -
Assuming you have Linux already installed on your system (D driver in your
case)
I usually will let NT/2000 install over the Linux (LILO enabled) Master Boot
Record on the boot disk. Then I boot into Linux from a floppy, mount the
Linux file system. From there simply add the appropriate entry into
/etc/lilo.conf, re-run lilo and it will re-install itself on the MBR as the
main boot manager (With the new “Windows 2000” entry).
Then when you choose “Windows 2000” from the Lilo conf boot menu, It will
load the Windows 2000 boot manager, which will let you select which config
of 2000 you want to boot.
Lilo is more friendly about recognizing other Non Linux OS’s that 2000 is
with non Microsoft OSs). It will be OK with booting the 2000 boot manger for
you.
