If they don’t understand “Null Modem serial cable”, then you can safely mark
them up as trainees, or incompetent.

It’s what I started with about 7 months ago, and I found it to be very useful.
Also to be highly recommended is “The Windows 2000 device driver book”, now in
at least its second edition, by mater ones may exist, by Art Baker and Jerry
Lozano.
