Is any one knows where is the documentation on
IOCTL_VOLSNAP_FLUSH_AND_HOLD_WRITES.
Thanks,
Shakeel.

You could try a look at FASTFAT source in IFS Kit.
Good luck!

Lyndon,
Is this IOCTL not documented? I coudn’t find the documentation in 2003 IFS
kit. What is “SNAPSHOT SDK”?
The book I am reading is refering to snapshot SDK. Is this a seperate
subscription?
Thanks,
Shakeel.

Seems this ioctl is introduced for Volume Shadow Copy Service; this service
might have been referred to as “Volume Snapshot Service” from time to time.
I expect the “snapshot sdk” referred in the book you are reading- “Inside
Windows Storage”? - is the Volume Shadow (Copy) Service [VSS] SDK (not to be
confused with Visual SourceSafe) which is a different piece of kit from say
IFS; this SDK might have been referred to as the “Volume Snapshot SDK” from
time to time.
Cheers
