QUERY : what setup for WLK testing of iSCSI

good evening helpful folks:

regarding WLK certification of iSCSI Storage Systems, i have some questions.

in the DTM1.5 Help Guide for WLK testing of iSCSI systems, it says:
* the Server should be connected to a Switch through 2 NICs.
* the Switch should be connected to the iSCSI Controller by 1 cable.

that's all? suppose we have two redundant Controllers in the same
shelf? dont we need two cables from the server to the switch?

DTM Help Preparing to Test Hardware-based Raid Systems (iSCSI)
Test System Configuration also says:
"12. Make sure that the test disks are set as basic disks.
13. Create three NTFS-formatted partitions that are greater
than 2 GB each and less than 4 GB each.
All of these partitions should be exposed with a single logon".

so, how many test disks do we need to create? dont we need one test
disk for every RAID suported as given in DTM Help for FC?

the WLK test setup for iSCSI does not test or exercise the Storage
Under Test in the way that the WLK tests for Fibre Channel does.

in any case, i did run the tests using 4 cables to the switch and 2 cables to the Storage and all the tests passed. previously, the WLK SCSI Compliance Test written by Eric St John did not pass in a multipath scenario. now, the SCT passes even with multipaths.

have a nice day,

Aaron
