hi all !
i got a query, which i couldn’t answer, so thought of asking it on this
list.
the requirement is something like this - there is a box which has a
wireless lan card on one side and an ethernet interface on the other. a
windows host needs to talk to this box through the ethernet interface.
at the same time the windows host needs to show up to the user that
there is a wireless card installed. so, basically a pseudo wireless lan
driver required, which sends out all the data over the nic interface to
the box, which then sends out the data from the wireless lan card. so,
the user feels he is connected through a wireless card, which he is not.
now, the question is, what are the ways possible for the pseudo wireless
lan driver (an ndis miniport i guess ?) to send out the data to the box
? One solution would be to use the TDI Interface to connect to the other
box, and send out the data.
any other solutions ? ideas ?
thanks,
-g
Girish,
There are a lots of way, ,
- IM driver
2.NDIS-WDM Driver
3.TDI filter driver.
Try one of them.
