Problem with WPP Tracing (ntifs.h and WXP)

Hi All,

I am trying to include WPP tracing in my file system filter driver meant for
Win2K and WinXP.
For this, i am including ntifs.h in my project.
By seeing a thread on OSR, named “WPP with ntifs.h”, i got to understand the
problem that was coming with my .tmh file and now it works fine for WNET
Free Build.

But it is still not working for WinXP build (Reason being that #ifdef
RUN_WPP… code not present in WinXP ntifs.h).

So, is there any way out that i can make it build successfully for WinXP as
well because otherwise my purpose of enabling WPP tracing in WinXP build
would be defeated.

One more thing. Is it possible that a filter driver from Windows 2003 build,
works fine on Windows 2K and XP environments as well.

Thanks in advance.

Shreshth

Just for your information. I am using IFSKit 3790.

If you use the current Vista WDK to build your driver it will work fine
