printer drivers

Hello,
anyone done any printer driver work ?? Im at a very very early stage of
project planning, but the idea is to write a generic printerer driver and I
really don’t know where to start !! Im not technical but if anyone has
anything to hand that will help me size/scale and understand what can/cannot
be done, I would be very grateful. Pointers to SDK’s etc… also useful.

The best starting point is the DDK docs. I suggest that you go through
the section on Print drivers. This will help you get a fair
understanding of the print subsystem architecture as well as the print
driver model.
