Hi,

We would like add some fonts to our driver. For the driver to support this
we need to have UFM files, how does one create the UFM files ?

Sriram

Use minidev.exe from DDK.
Here you can create new UFM files

The Microsoft Minidriver Development Tool (Microsoft MDT), which is included with DDK as minidev.exe, is a software tool designed for development of minidrivers.
it Automatically converts binary minidrivers, used with previous versions of NT-based operating systems, into text-based minidrivers for Windows 2000 and later. When you use the Wizard, it creates a Windows 2000 (or later) minidriver by converting the file

Windows PFM files(NT) into UFM Files(2k)

pfm files which u will get in \DDK\src\print\mini can be Customized through Unitool.exe

Convert modified PFM into UFM through minidev.exe
