PnP driver question

Hello,

  1. What are the minimal requests for a bus and device so that a PnP driver can be written for the device?

  2. What role if any do SM BIOS records play in PnP on Win2K?

  3. I have seen mention of a bus driver. Does this driver play a key role in loading PnP drivers when a device announces its presence or is discovered by whomever?
