Does anyone know what tools are going to be used at the plugfest in November
and where they can be downloaded? I’d like to make sure my driver works
with them before schlepping up there.
Also, is it possible to get the same versions that will be used? Last year
they had different versions than were available.
Never mind. I found it in bcdedit.

Never mind about the never mind.
I sent this reply to the wrong message. I still need help on the plugfest
tools.

test your driver at the lastest vista platform
you can use MS TxF Testing Tool which was available at Plugfest last year (i
already sent it to you).

Does this tool still work after the great shift from implicit transaction
bindings to explicit transaction bindings?
Cheers

The tools used at Plugfest are usually the latest internal builds and
therefore you can’t get the exact bits they’ll be using. Since DTM is
taking over, you’ll have to install it to get the latest publicly
released versions of IOStress and IFSTest.
Be cautious of IFSTest because it has been know to report errors that
really weren’t errors like the amount of time it takes IO to be
processed. Well, when you get filters in there, it will take longer.
The TxF tool should be in DTM but I’m not currently able to verify
that statement.
In any case, half the fun of Plugfest is going in and finding out what
the tools think of you filter anyway.
