OT - problems with IE 5.5

Hi all,
I know this is off-topic, and not posted to the right list, but posts to
other lists have been fruitless.

When browsing using IE 5.5 (Win2000, SP1) I often get “This page cannot be
displayed” errors. Sometimes, I just need to
press “refresh”, and the page sometimes appears. Other times, I need to
exit IE and re-launch it to get the page to display. Sometimes, the logo
just spins forever, and the page never appears.
I do not experience this problem when using IE version 5.0, just version
5.5.

Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone know of any solutions, RTFMs, KB
articles?

Thanks

Yeah, this is seriously annoying, enough that I fire up Netscape to get
around it!
