OT: missed posts?

Hello. Lately it appears that I have missed several posts on NTDEV via
email, but not on NNTP. I *think* NTDEV NNTP works fine for me without
missed posts, but I cannot be 100% sure. The difference between NNTP and
email alerted me to this problem. Also, I saw a reply to one of my
questions from Doron Holan, but I never saw my original question on the list
(again over email, not NNTP). I just wanted to ask the group if they have
experienced any missed posts over email. Of course, I’m using hotmail so
that could be the issue right there. I hesitate to use the corporate email
address due to spam harvesting, but if I have to I will.

Finally, some of these posts were mine, thanking everyone who helped me with
WPP tracing. If these were not sent properly on my part, you have my thanks
for helping me got WPP tracing working.

thanks,

Philip Lukidis

Hi,

I’ll message you off list to try and figure out what’s going on.

It appears to me from time to time, too. I never really verified it because don’t use news but sometimes I see replies to mails I haven’t read. Not too often, though. I use corporate e-mail so it doesn’t see as hotmail address problem. BTW, no problem with spam after half year of using new address.

Well, this has definitely happened to me using hotmail. When I asked a
question on WPP tracing, I never saw my question posted, but I saw Doron
Holan’s reply.

To make sure that this is not a hotmail issue, I have switched for now to
corporate email.

I’ve never been spammed from this list, as far as I know. The barriers to
entry are too high. I’ve had lots of crud from usenet.

I’ve moved away from hotmail, and I’m glad to hear that members have no
trouble with spam. I guess I was being overly paranoid.
