Off Line Files under W2000

Hi everybody,
anyone knows wich is the exact behaviour of so called ‘off line files’ under
W2000 ?
In particular, how temporary files are used ?

I have noticed that all management of off-line files is done by mrxsmb.sys
(that I understand is
the LanMan redirector under W2000). No file filters seems to be related with
off line files
management. Is that true ? Are reparse points used to deal with off line
files ?

Any info would be appreciated.

Really? So, the threw rdr.sys away and switched to the RDBSS architecture?

Max, actually under W2000 there is no RDR.SYS.
And yes, mrxsmb follows rdbss. It looks a lot like rdr2 in the IFS Kit.

It creates two devices: LanmanRedirector and LanmanDatagramReceiver.
