Hi,
We http://www.pavitrasoft.com/products/crossmeta are working on
collection of popular unix file systems FFS, NFS, ext2fs and XFS for
Windows. For the GPL version of XFS and ext2fs we have to release their
source code. But the end user will not be able to compile the sources,
since it will reference our proprietary code and also Microsoft’s ifs
kit header files.
One suggestion is to make our headers and ntifs headers as precompiled
header files. This way with precompiled headers and import libraries
others would be able to build those file system drivers.
Does this violate the Microsoft EULA for ntifs kit? Is it easy to
reverseengineer precompiled headers to get back to original header
files. Does precompiled headers safeguard the secrets.
Thanks in advance.
Sam
