Hi,
I have a Network Provider/Network File system which works
fine on 2K and works for 99% of tested cases for XP. The
problem seems to be around NPEnumResources (I think) on XP.
Has anyone seen/know about any changes here?
The problem is during installation of Adobe Photoshop. During
installation the user can specify a network drive as target.
The pulldown (for drive letters) will not show my NetworkFSD’s
drive letters (this works fine on 2K). I do note that when
I have a Samba drive, Samba gets 2 ioctls (0x141a7, 0x1401a3) that
I’m not sure has anything to do with the problem. The only
query I get before the “Choose Directory” dialog appears is
a call to NPEnumResources. I pass back the same stuff on XP as I
do on 2K. The only think I can think of is that there’s
something “more/new” I need to send back.
Anyone seen any difference between 2K and XP expected behviour
for Network Providers? Any hints/suggestions at more to look at?
Thanks in advance.
Pete
