I am running Vista Business on my host and usually use 1394 to debug, and
ofcourse you find a problem on a unit which does not have a firewire adaptor
on it, and I am forced to debug using the com port.
However I find that windbg does not want to switch to using the com port.
Irrespective of what I specify it wants to use 1394. I tried specifying com
port on the command line and it still starts up trying to use 1394.
Any ideas?
never mind…
deleting all the entries in the registry under windbg seems to fix this
weird problem.
