NIC Driver Query

Hi All,
I am wirtting a virtual NIC adapter driver in Win2K. I
am faceing the following problem. Does any one help
me.
1)Every time I install my driver, the Driver Digital
Signature Dialog is coming up. How I can eliminate
this.
2)Is it possible to customize the Local Area
Connection Status Icon displayed in the system Tray. I
need to show my applicaiton Icon there.
3)How do I hide the standard Local Area connection
Icon.
4)When my driver is installed it will create a
registry Key in the
\Registry\Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\NetWokClassGUID\Instance
GUID.Under this there is key named “Connection” is
created. At what time this entry is created in
registry. I tried to access this entry from the
MiniportInitialize() function and the
RtlWriteRegistryValue()function failed.But when I
tried to access it from an IOCTL it succeded. So I
think the key is not there when the
MiniportInitialize()is created and I am getting the
error OBJECT PATH NOT FOUND.What actually needed is I
need to set the “ShowIcon” value there.

Thanks in advance
Suja.
