Newbie seeks HELP !!!

Hello All,

actually i have just downloaded NT4 ddk from microsofts site,
but i have NT version 6.0 ,so i want to know whether ddk for NT4.0
will work for NT 6 as well.
please also tell me how to configure the ddk in my system
after running its setup file.

You mean you have NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 (SP6).
(Thus, DDK for NT 4 is ok. :slight_smile:

Before trying to setup your system and configure your
development environment for yourself, reading this may
help you a bit:

Before you even *think* on configuring your environment
and actually began developing drivers, you should consider
reading a couple of good books on the subject. Also,
before posting doubts to this list you should try to find out
if your question has already been answered - go to the OSR

select ‘ntdev’, join in and search the info you’re looking for…
