I am indicating cable connections and disconnections in the CheckForHang
handler of an NDIS 5.0 driver in much the same way as the e100 sample.
However, I can time the cable connection/disconnection to happen fairly
quickly. When this happens TCP/IP no longer sends packets to the Miniport
even though the network icon in the system tray will correctly indicate
the status of the cable. Once it gets in this state no amount of cable
connection/disconnection will ever wake up TCP/IP for my Miniport, but
again the connection status in the network system tray icon follows the
cable connections/disconnections properly. Is there a minimum interval
between which you cannot indicate status?
