Hi,
I’ve landed in a strange problem. When my passthru based driver is run, I am
able to ping any IP address. But it doesn’t work, when I try to ping the
host name (e.g. www.yahoo.com). i.e. name resolution doesn’t work. This only
works after I run the ethereal.
Does anybody have any clues, what might be happening ? Anything which
ethereal (or winpcap) is doing internally.
I’m running the driver on win2k and it is developed with XP DDK.
Any ideas will be extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance,
Amit Manocha
Better talk with winpcap team…
